Project Description

Also known as dry powder scrubbing & Ayurvedic Lymphatic Massage. This technique utilizes a powder made from a combination of Ayurvedic herbs that creates a special exfoliating effect that helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite and promote fat loss. It is beneficial to remove Kapha (congestion within the body), promotes circulation, increases skin health & clarity and helps unblock stuck/stagnant energy. This therapy is followed by placing a steam tent over the body to assist in the body’s absorption of the herbs.

A deeply penetrating “dry scrubbing” with ground herbs. This powerful lymphatic therapy & exfoliating treatment restores tone & radiance to the skin, removes dead skin, breaks up “Kapha” (congestion/stickiness in the tissue), helps to break up scar tissue, reduces the appearance of cellulite and aids I the bodies natural ability to purge toxins.

A tented steam bath used in conjunction with Abhyanga. Once the herbalized oils are massaged into the skin, a steam bath tent is placed over the body which is heated from the steam allowing the nutrients in the oil to absorb and the body is able to purge any mental, emotional or physical toxins & impurities lodged deeply within the tissue. The clients head is kept outside of the steam tent which keeps the head cool and allows for a sence of calm & openness without overheating & causing stress on the body.

“Any disturbance in the equilibrium of Dhatus (Tridosha, body tissues and waste products) is known as disease.
The state of their equilibrium is health. Happiness indicates health and pain indicates disease.”
